Normal is Overrated!

Are you a normal being? Are you the common one in a mob? It may sound weird but let me answer you. You are not normal. You are different. You are unique. Difficult for some to understand. A secret for some to decipher. Everyone is born unique. It’s just that you have covered yourself with layers of normalcy. Let the suspense be revealed. Let the mystery unfold. Chase your dreams and never lose yourself in the run. Explore yourself. Dive deep within yourself. Everyone here in this world has been sent for a purpose. Find out your purpose. The purpose which fulfils you, which satisfies your emotions and energise your spirit, which calms your mind and soul, and which provides you a sense of direction. And be a part of the change. The change which is much waited. The change which is the need of the moment. Be the change, be different, be YOU.

Don’t belong to the general mob that just follows the rules and regulations laid down by the society and die one day. Don’t follow simply because the person next to you is following the same. Because everyone else is doing it. So, you also have to do it. That is what you are supposed to do. No, absolutely not. You need not do that. That is just what is inculcated in our brains.

Don’t be one in a herd. Don’t follow the herd mentality, where everyone is following the every other, without using their own brains. Just wait for a moment and realise what you have been doing with your life being normal. Normalcy is addiction. It’s like an addiction of those dreadful drugs, which will lead you nowhere. It has such a tight grip that will not let you depart from it easily. At the end, what are you going to achieve? What is the result of being normal? What are the consequences of blindly following the people? Are you going to be rewarded for being normal or are you going to be at the top of the ladder of success? If you want to know the truth, open your eyes and ears. Listen, observe and accept the facts. One day, everyone is going to depart from this world. The only thing which will remain forever is what you did for this world, what have you achieved. In short, what have you done so differently so that people will keep you in their heart and mind forever. And you can do this by being different; not normal, by being a little weird; not normal. Normal will lose its charm in the group. But, the different will shine brightly and make its presence worthy. It’s been rightly said that,” People may hate you for being different and not living by society’s standards, but deep down, they wish they had the courage to do the same”. So, stop pondering and feel privileged in being abnormal. Hug the weirdness in you and embrace the wildness.

Because Normal is Overrated and Different is the Perfect Estimation!

    1. Thanks for sharing your voice. That’s true. We are constantly being conditioned and bounded by limits. It’s we, who need to break this monotony and bring a change.

Yes dear one should overcome the fear and muster the courage to accept the uniqueness in them, and then the rest would be a history.

  1. Loved the title and was curious to know what’s in there! Wow … you post raised my self-esteem manifold. I still do think that being nornal is falling into the system. But then where’s the challenge? Hence be unique.
Shall save it for a re-read.
